Well, I know Iron Man is very fashion nowadays but I always loved Marvel character since I was a child and Tony Stark's alter ego was probably the most "human" character of the Marvel Universe.

I was inspired from the "Aliens" movies with Sigourney Weaver although the girl below sure doesn't look like her and sure Mrs Weaver never handled a sword against her enemy

I imagined a warrior girl, exploring the dark and abandoned interiors of a spacecraft, ready to use her sword against the alien suddenly appeared but immediately hypnotized from the light coming from the above tentacle ....

What will happen to the unlucky girl ... ? Will the alien kill her ... ?

50 hours work, Photoshop and Wacom tablet. Reference used.

This is my first attempt in matte painting.

I wanted to create a sort of world of fantasy with some sci-fi mixed and reproduce the feelings of the ship's captain, Sir Gahal Trestenjohl, writing on the ship's journal, almost ready to leave.
